We are hiring!

Regenerative farm worker (1 position)

Employment period 15.06.-30.09.2025
Salary 2400-2500€/month

We are looking for one person to join our team during summer 2025.
As our farm is growing we need extra hands to produce the best no dig -vegetables, pasture raised eggs and pasture raised broilers. We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys working outside, with their hands, in a team as well as independently. We offer a rewarding and diverse working experience, beyond the ordinary. Working with us gives you the opportunity to really learn how to run a regenerative small farm.
Besides you, the team consists of founders/owners Essi and Pieter-Jan as well as 2 interns.

Tasks
You will be working with both the market garden as well as our animal enterprises.

Market garden:
seedling and plant care
transplanting
harvest
weed and pest management
irrigation
greenhouse care

Pasture raised poultry enterprises:
feeding chicken
egg collection
daily animal moves
slaughter
packaging
animal care

A typical work day starts with moving and feeding the hens and broilers, harvesting vegetables or pruning tomatoes in the greenhouse, lunch, feeding the hens and broilers again, collecting and packing eggs, checking on the broiler chicks in the brooder or packing up the last batch of vegetables and (some days) end with a splash in the lake. Every day is different though and tasks vary constantly. You need to be able to understand given tasks rapidly as well as see work that needs doing and take responsibility over it.

Work days start around 8:30 and end around 16:30, approximately 8h/day, some days are longer, some days are shorter.
We also have around 12 slaughter days per summer. Our on farm slaughter facility is very comfortable to work in but for the good of the birds, it is still mostly a manual job. It's ok to ask for more info, but if you are not ok with slaughtering you probably shouldn't apply.

Requirements
Extensive farming experience is not necessary; a genuine interest in regenerative agriculture is. You have a hands-on, proactive and flexible attitude. We need to sense your strong motivation and dedication to results.
Driving license (B)
English is our main working language
